The position In your role as Senior Project Portfolio Manager, your focus is on enhancing the overall management of the project portfolio within GCM, with a particular emphasis on facilitating growth and prioritization. To accomplish this, you need to possess a deep understanding of the processes and a keen insight into the business, all while concentrating on streamlining project procedures throughout the organization. Some of your main tasks include: Maintaining a comprehensive grasp of ongoing activities, operations, and projects Ensuring the integrity and organization of data, serving as a foundation for stakeholders’ decision-making Creating insights for senior management that emphasize a complete project overview and resource allocation Developing a strategic approach to project portfolio management in GCM and offering guidance to Lines of Business (LoB) Qualifications To be successful in this role, we imagine you: Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical or a related business field Demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role in a large corporation, coupled with robust business acumen Display strong communication and collaboration abilities that extend across all levels of the organization Possess an advanced proficiency in using MS Office tools Exhibit fluency in both spoken and written English. About the department GCM is responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s contract manufacturing operations worldwide, delivering high-quality products in a sustainable way and in compliance with regulations. GCM Strategy and Business Development is responsible for all back-office processes, including budgets, business plans, risk reporting, and evaluating new technologies to improve GCM’s operations. You will be joining a collaborative team of over 20 professionals with diverse international backgrounds.
