The Global IT Division in LEO Pharma has the aim of always having and maintaining a world-class service delivery in a fast-growing global business, building roadmaps for their services together with the primary outsourcing partners. Changes like these in a rapidly growing global organization create an environment of continuous service improvement, transformation and innovation at LEO Pharma. Global IT has embarked on a transformation journey towards an agile delivery method. A LACE team is in place and agile practices are used in some parts of Global IT. I&O Delivery is building up an agile setup with a view to enhancing collaboration, time to market and organizational resilience.

The I&O Delivery department in Global IT plays a central role in delivering IT services that are compliant, reliable, scalable, cost efficient and meet agreed service levels. In your role as Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of services to defined business areas in LEO Pharma. You will have close collaboration with data and process owners to ensure that the systems meet the requirements of the business and authorities. These requirements must be communicated to the external service provider and you will serve as the escalation point when issues occur, and it is your responsibility to solve these issues.
It is vital that you understand the business processes for you to deliver the required service. You must have the desire and ability to work both at the strategic and the operational level. Strategically, you will be a sparring partner for the business managers and the Head of I&O Delivery to make sure that implemented changes are in line with the strategic direction. Operationally, you will solve daily issues with the business users in LEO Pharma as well as with the external service provider.

Moreover, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives for application groups, and you will be involved in projects to ensure, that new applications in scope are successfully handed over to support. It will also be part of your job to proactively identify risks and issues and enforce management procedures to minimize application downtime or outages. It will be within your responsibility to collaborate, build and maintain key guiding principles, templates and other material and share with the other resources in the department ensuring standardization of governance towards the LoB.

You take responsibility and lead the way, and you can balance your efforts between overall improvements towards operational issue handling. You are a strong communicator and excel at engaging with and managing internal and external stakeholders.
You will join a team of highly skilled SDMs covering the entire business application portfolio at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. We own and manage the LEO Pharma IT applications lifecycle as well as managing the outsourcing providers’ delivery of I&O Delivery. The job

- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of several GxP critical IT applications
- Responsible for ensuring that the IT services are in compliance with internal and external requirements (according to health authorities) to ensure the validated state
- Accountable for service delivery across LEO Pharma for respective applications or group of applications, and act as escalation point
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of the contracted services, accountable for the quality and budget, and responsible for addressing application issues or failures
- Manage the relationship with and performance of vendors delivering application services
- Produce and present reporting and highlight progress to the department and Line of Business (LoB) stakeholders

Your qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or another relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in supporting SLA’s – preferably within pharma or similar regulated industry
- Functional and technical understanding of relevant pharma solutions and integration with third party, on premise and cloud-based platforms
- Relevant certifications (Agile, ITIL etc.)
- Experience with delivering IT in the context of pharma/GxP is required
- Previous experience managing delivery of service by influencing others
- Being part of an international organization, you must possess very good English skills, written and spoken
