LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you. Do you want to work with sustainability in practice? Do you want to engage with suppliers on sustainability and are you eager to support the continued improvement of our sustainable procurement function?

The job


As Sustainable Procurement Specialist, your overall objective is to support the continued integration of sustainability into procurement processes at LEO Pharma. You will have responsibility for projects that support this integration, especially in relation to human rights.

Main tasks include:

  • Drive projects with relevance to sustainable procurement in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate at industry level on human rights in supply chains
  • Provide input to reporting in relation to sustainable procurement (annual report and UK Modern Slavery Act)
  • Human rights impact assessments in relation to supply chain
  • Risk assessment and evaluation of suppliers

As the sustainability agenda evolves so fast, we need a person who is able to identify key trends and translate them into the context of the work we do at LEO Pharma. You should expect to get tasks for which you may not know much from the start but will develop this knowledge on the go.

Your qualifications


  • Master's degree in business administration or similar
  • Experience and interest in sustainability and CSR related topics preferably in relation to suppliers or supply chain as well as human rights
  • Experience working with international guidelines in relation to sustainability such as UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and OECD guidelines
  • Communication skills so you can translate complex issues into more tangible issues to stakeholders
  • English at fluent level both spoken and written is required. Other languages are an advantage


You are passionate about sustainability and want to drive change and lead by example. You are trustworthy, comfortable and impactful when communicating to both small and larger audiences. You focus on getting results and always act with integrity. You have an international profile and enjoy working with different nationalities.

You will be part of a small team of passionate sustainability professionals placed in Global Procurement. We are responsible for driving sustainable procurement at global level in LEO Pharma. We have a high degree of collaboration with internal as well as external stakeholders and we are on a continuous journey to develop. We are based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.
