We have recently merged sustainable procurement and risk & compliance into one function in Global Procurement and therefore need a new colleague to support developing the area further.
The job
As Sustainable Procurement Specialist your overall objective is to support the continued integration of sustainability as well as risk and compliance into procurement processes at LEO Pharma.
Main tasks include:
As the sustainability agenda evolves so fast, we need a person who can identify key trends and translate them into the context of the work we do at LEO Pharma. You should expect to get tasks for which you may not know much from the start but will develop this knowledge on the go.
Your qualifications
You are structured and analytical and want to drive change and lead by example. You are trustworthy, comfortable and impactful when communicating to both small and larger audiences. You focus on getting results and always act with integrity. You have an international profile and enjoy working with different nationalities.
Your new team
You will be part of a small team of passionate sustainability professionals placed in Global Procurement. We are responsible for driving procurement sustainability, risk and compliance at global level in LEO Pharma. We have a high degree of collaboration with internal as well as external stakeholders and we are on a continuous journey to develop. We are based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.

The job
As Sustainable Procurement Specialist your overall objective is to support the continued integration of sustainability as well as risk and compliance into procurement processes at LEO Pharma.
Main tasks include:
- Develop supplier risk management approach
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluation of suppliers
- Drive projects with relevance to sustainability, risk, and compliance in Global Procurement.
- Compliance reporting
- Support climate action in relation to suppliers

Your qualifications
- Relevant master’s degree
- 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Experience with implementing supplier risk management
- Experience with scope 3 reduction
- Experience and interest in sustainability, risk and compliance related topics preferably in relation to suppliers or supply chain.
- Experience working with international guidelines in relation to sustainability such as UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and OECD guidelines
- English at fluent level both spoken and written is required. Other languages are an advantage. Danish is not a requirement as you will be working in an international team.
