The job
Your job is to ensure superior procurement support to Global Research & Development as a dedicated partner for Executive Vice President Jörg Möller and his direct management team on procurement strategy and projects. As Procurement Business Partner you will be accountable for indirectly and directly supporting the category owner(s) of specific categories with ensuring the category strategies relates to the Global Research & Development and LEO’s strategy.
You will be responsible for the Global Research & Development Procurement Strategy together with line of business to ensure alignment with the overall Leo Pharma strategy. This require a close alignment with the Finance Business Partner to understand the procurement impact on the budget.
As a Procurement Business Partner you will be empowered to bring procurement opportunities to the Global Research & Development to increase supplier value and reduce spend. This includes aligning spend areas across Leo Pharma for synergies when it make sense.

Your new team
You will join a Global Direct Procurement organization of approximately 20 procurement professionals divided into three teams at the Leo Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. You will be a part of the Direct Procurement leadership team.
The teams share an ambition of making results that matters the most. The environment is characterized by support, helpfulness and a good understanding of what sister teams are doing – we are ONE department and we succeed as such.

- Keeping an overview of key procurement project in Global Research & Development
- Ensuring alignment with the Global Procurement Principle Procedure
- Understanding Global Research and Development budget and procurement impact
- Responsible for the Global Research & Development procurement strategy together with line of business
- Responsible for relevant category and vendor strategies
- Lead ad hoc procurement project relevant for the Global Research & Development.
- Supporting Director of Global Direct Procurement in setting and reaching yearly targets

Your qualifications
- A relevant Masters’ degree
- Solid procurement experience from pharma or comparable highly regulated industry
- A strategic mindset and solid negotiation experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
