We need you to be the Quality Assurance Partner in our development teams. To develop high-quality products, by complying with relevant regulation, by following best-practice development processes securing the right level of documentation. You will be a trusted partner, provide insights, and support decision making, to drive business performance.
In our Displaying Units QAE team we always need to be on top of state-of-the-art technologies within our product range including endoscopes, monitors and network components. We need to make sure that our medical devices are developed and documented according to the latest regulation. As part of Corporate QAE, located at the headquarters in Ballerup, you will join a team of engineers with various expert areas. Your colleagues will be in Denmark, Germany, USA and Asia. We are looking for a self starter with pioneering mentality, who is not afraid of taking a leap into the unknown. Who is using a solid QA toolbox to keep both feet on the ground and separate dream from reality in the end. In this role as QA Engineer you will have the chance to impact product development and your own daily tasks and responsibilities. Your main responsibilities will be:
(*) Some travel activity (5-10 days per year), is to be expected, because of development projects, conferences and global quality meetings.
Experience in development of electronics and software required!
We will do our utmost best to set you up for success by sharing our immense experience in the field with you. However, for you to succeed in the job, we will need you to have strong experience within design control of products, including electronics and software. Either from an R&D, QA or similar department. Preferably from the medical device or other regulated industry. Experience with risk management, design transfer and/or cybersecurity will be an advantage, but not a requirement. Your professional background is electronics, software, biomedical or similar engineering.
It is important that you have a structured approach to your work, but at the same time, that you are open-minded and see possibilities. You have a clear ability to maintain overview in a busy environment and you are a team player with the ability to also work independently. It is natural for you to take charge and you are proactive, good at prioritizing, planning, and finalizing your tasks.

- Ensure professional and proactive quality assurance in the development projects for products including electronics and software.
- Handle risk management activities in the development projects.
- Participate in the design transfer process to our external contract manufacturers.
- Assist in improving our design control processes and tools.
- Support life cycle maintenance of products (design changes, complaints etc.).
- Participate in other QAE tasks as supplier audits and monitoring of existing products.
