A/S◀ is currently looking for a Procurement Insights Manager to be based in Ballerup, Denmark.
As a Procurement Insights Manager, you will report to the Head of Global Procurement and play a pivotal role in supporting procurement and relevant stakeholders through data analysis and interpretation. Your main tasks will include leading strategic sourcing analytics projects, developing analytical models, and implementing data visualization tools to communicate insights. You will collaborate closely with procurement teams and other stakeholders across organization. This role is ideal for someone interested in continuously improving data quality, spend management tools, and related processes.

Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading, driving and managing various strategic sourcing analytics projects.
- Leading and developing analytical concepts, modelling and systems using large and complex sets of data from various sources, including market data, financial reports, contracts, invoices, and supplier performance metrics.
- Pro-actively identifying opportunities for cost savings and risk management through data analysis.
- Collaborating closely with procurement teams to implement data-driven strategies and improve processes.
- Ensuring that Global Procurement get the most value out of the data and technology at hand.
- Providing guidance and training to junior team members on data analysis and sourcing techniques and tools.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and procurement.
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant procurement, sourcing & commodity analyst experience.
- M.Sc. in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or similar.
- Understanding of end-to-end processes related to Sourcing, systems and data understanding.
- Solid experience with Analytics, Data Modelling and Visualization tools such as Microsoft power platform, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, Knime, Alteryx or similar.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset and skills, plus a structured way of working.
- Pro-active and curious by nature with a general flair for technology.
