MAN Truck & Bus - one of the world's largest suppliers of trucks, vans and buses - is currently looking for a Procurement graduate to strengthen our purchasing activities in Scandinavia.
Your primary responsibilities will be to assist and execute procurement initiatives such as data collection, analysis of purchasing data, contract and vendor management and request quotes on a large variety of products and services. Furthermore, you will support cost reduction initiatives, take part in supplier negotiations and draft supplier contracts in agreement with the person in charge of the area.
Your workplace will be in Copenhagen (Greve) and you will report to the Head of Network Sales & Service Scandinavia, who in addition to purchasing handles business development, investment management and quality management.
The position is available now and the employment will be based on a temporary contract of up to 12 months duration. The position is a full-time employment.

- Data collection & analysis of purchasing data
- Contract & vendor management
- Request quotes on a large variety of products & services
- Support cost reduction initiatives
- Participate in supplier negotiations & prepare draft supplier agreements
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in business administration, supply chain, procurement or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and be able to collect data, establish a decision basis based on this data and draw conclusions from it.
- Strong interest and/or experience within procurement and consider yourself to have good negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Danish and English orally and in writing.
- Experienced user in Microsoft Office and especially an expert in Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Experience from an international environment, in procurement would be a strong asset
