Your role and responsibilities


If you want to be part of what might be the most exciting development in Danish industry in recent times, now is your chance. You will unfold your skills in intersection between pharma and automation with a focus on the development and implementation of pharmaceutical production lines. Our project pipeline is more dynamic than ever, and our pharma organization is growing at a historically high pace. To support this expansion, we are restructuring our Engineering department into two teams. You will lead a larger and robust team of 10-15 engineers with extensive experience with pharmaceutical projects. Your team is an international and well-functioning group of employees based in Middelfart, Kalundborg and Ballerup. Your focus will be to ensure that your team delivers high-quality solutions while you also ensure continuous development of both the individual employees and the team as a whole. You will become a key part of the management team for our pharma organization, where you will play a crucial role in setting strategic direction and managing daily operational challenges. You are also part of the local division's Extended Management Team, where you, among other things, contributes with focus on the broader business perspective. Current projects are in Kalundborg and Bagsværd. You have the flexibility to choose your base location, provided you can commit to spending at least one day per week at each [xxxxx] office locations to ensure visible and effective leadership. Proficiency in English is essential as it is our working language. Your responsibilities: • Lead an international team of 10-15 automation engineers spread across three locations • Ensure job satisfaction and development through visible and present management • Handle planning and resource allocation in relation to your employees' participation in projects • Secure quality solutions via responsiveness to customer wishes, forward-looking planning and good coaching • Recruit new employees and thus support the growth strategy and potential • Contribute to overall planning and handling of operational challenges as part of the management team in Pharma Operations and the Extended Management Team in Energy Industries Denmark

Qualifications for the role


  • Proven experience in management and/or project management, with a talent for removing obstacles and empowering your team
  • Great motivation for people management – you simply like to help people to be the best version of themselves
  • The ability to inspire optimism and encourage innovative thinking among your colleagues
  • Knowledge of automation projects and/or pharma
  • Motivation for working with GxP – pharma production has the highest quality requirements
  • Motivation to continuously develop and improve your team's processes and tools
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly conveying the “why, what, who, and when” in both Danish and English
