As Procurement Specialist Logistics, you will report to the Procurement Director for Denmark & Norway and collaborate closely with the Group Category Manager for Logistics. You’ll develop and execute category strategies, negotiate contracts, drive supplier performance, manage risks and governance, and support our sustainability ambitions. The position is based in our office in Faxe, Denmark.

As Procurement Specialist Logistics, you will report to the Procurement Director for Denmark & Norway and collaborate closely with the Group Category Manager for Logistics. You’ll develop and execute category strategies, negotiate contracts, drive supplier performance, manage risks and governance, and support our sustainability ambitions. The position is based in our office in Faxe, Denmark.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage national transport and warehousing tenders and contracts across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, including pallet agreements and other procurement projects.
- Execute logistics and warehousing strategies to support group sourcing activities, enhancing cost efficiency, supply chain operations, and service objectives.
- Analyze logistics spend and price variances, support the annual budget process, and develop cost-to-serve guidelines.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives, including CO₂ emission assessments and Scope 3 reporting.
- Drive supplier performance through KPI design, SLA management, and optimizing truck and warehouse utilization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes such as pallet flow and rate management in SAP.
- Support strategic projects, business integration, and global sourcing initiatives.
- Actively manage and develop the supplier base, focusing on consolidation and strategic growth.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking an ambitious and solution-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably within logistics, procurement, or supply chain management.
- At least 3 years of logistics procurement experience, with a desire to grow into a global category role.
- Strong analytical and negotiation abilities, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with AI tools. Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- A keen interest in improving procurement processes and tools within the logistics category.
- A collaborative mindset, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a proactive approach to sustainability and innovation.
