ALK Global Procurement is in an ongoing transformation, enhancing our scope and reach, to ensure short- and long-term value creation, underpinning ALK’s new strategy Allergy+. ALK Global Procurement manages direct and indirect procurement, across locations in Europe, North America, and China, within Research & Development, Manufacturing and Commercial Operations.
The position
Do you have strong stakeholder management skills and are you experienced with external supply chains? Would you like to work with sustainability related to suppliers and supply chain in a global pharmaceutical company? Are you driven by a high level of professionalism, and does it motivate you to make a difference for people living with allergy?
Improving lives for people with allergy, in a sustainable way, is our purpose in ALK. Latest ALK has signed up to the Science Based Target initiative, and we further work dedicated, and motivated, to comply with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the EU taxonomy regulation.
ALK Global Procurement plays an integrated and important part of ALK’s sustainability journey within the Environmental, Social and Governance areas, with a focus on suppliers to our global manufacturing sites, commercial affiliates, and head quarter functions.
ALK Global Procurement function is a dynamic and diverse team managing strategic procurement, with team members based in US, Spain, France and Denmark. We are motivated and driven by continuous improvement and new learning, in an international supply context.
Now we are looking for a new colleague, who can develop our external supply chain ESG strategy and implement it in practice, in collaboration with colleagues in ALK and our suppliers. The position will report to the Vice President of Global Procurement.

Now we are looking for a new colleague, who can develop our external supply chain ESG strategy and implement it in practice, in collaboration with colleagues in ALK and our suppliers. The position will report to the Vice President of Global Procurement.
Your field of responsibility:
- CSRD and EU Taxonomy reporting related to supply chain.
- Risk assessment of suppliers using risk assessment tool.
- Facilitate dialogue/assessment of suppliers with regards to environmental, social (human rights) and governance topics.
- Engage with suppliers and procurement team members on CO2 reporting.
- Follow up on third-party code of conduct implementation.
Your qualifications
We imagine that you bring:
- A master’s degree combined with 3-5 years’ of working experience, or a bachelor’s degree combined with 5-7 years’ of working experience with sustainability in an international context.
- A strong analytical mind-set working diligently with large data sets.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English written and spoken.
Furthermore, you can work from and be present at our head office located in the DTU Science Park in Hørsholm, Denmark 3-4 days a week.
