The position
We have an exciting position to offer with a great variety of tasks. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Manage Procurement Plan for indirect spend in major investment projects in PS API
• Coordinate procurement activities with Purchasing and Sourcing teams.
• Act as a focal point for project organization, providing guidance and support for Indirect Spend related matters
• Prioritize sourcing pipeline and daily purchase requests, aligning tenders and scope with central procurement organizations and engineering partners
• Plan and execute sourcing events, drive sourcing process and negotiations, conduct market screening of potential suppliers, maintain Sourcing Pipeline, and manage end-to-end sourcing and contracting activitiesAs our new Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for indirect spend transactions in the project organisation. Together with the rest of the team you will ensure to drive sourcing and purchasing processes and act as the link between project organisation and central Procurement Organisations.The categories in scope are broad, and you will thus collaborate with many interesting colleagues across the organisation both in Kalundborg, Bagsværd and Virum.QualificationsTo excel in this role, we require the following qualifications:• Master’s degree in relevant field
• Extensive experience as Procurement Manager, preferably in project settings
• Experience with formal or informal leadership
• Experience in end-to-end procurement processes
• Experience with procurement tools such as, Coupa, ARIBA, SAP or similar sourcing tools
• Fluency in both Danish and EnglishExperience in construction-related projects and familiarity with GxP or the pharmaceutical industry are advantageous for this role.On a personal level, you are recognized for your procurement knowledge and your supportive attitude. You enjoy being part of a global work environment while effectively communicating complex issues in an easily understandable manner. Direction setting and the management of multiple changes and priorities are well within your capabilities. You demonstrate the ability to work independently while also functioning as a team player, consistently aiming for strong business results. Self-driven and proficient at following through on agreements, you establish robust professional relationships both internally and externally. Proactive and possessing a solution-oriented mindset, you tackle tasks with effectiveness and efficiency.About the department
We Support our PS API Investment Projects, that is responsible for some the largest capacity expansion projects in the pharmaceutical sector. We are anchored in PS API Business Support and therefor has a broad area of responsibility and stakeholders in the organisation.We are responsible for indirect spend and for defining and driving the indirect procurement strategy. We contribute to a range of optimization projects and provide the insights that shape the way we will do things in the future.
