At 3Shape, we are looking for a skilled and 360° thinking Product Manager who can help drive our ambition to develop the world’s leading in-house solution for same day dentistry. As Product Manager for the 3Shape TRIOS Design Studio software, you will play an important part in setting the future direction for 3Shape within this area and in creating an outstanding user experience.
As Product Manager for TRIOS Design Studio you will:
- Be responsible for the entire software solution experience from the actual CAD design workflow to the entire eco-system around the solution.
- Explore and understand customer needs in their daily work environment, analyze markets and competition to define the product vision, product roadmaps and product requirements.
- Take on a 360° approach to the solution, from the product vision, roadmaps and development of the solution to the installation and everyday use of the solution.
- Drive the development and rollout of new features, functionalities and product releases in collaboration with R&D
- Align, prioritize and coordinate roadmaps and initiatives within our and other teams across the entire 3Shape organization from R&D to different Business Units, Sales, Marketing, Academy and Customer Care
- Give input to product launch activities in close collaboration with the Commercial Product Manager and other colleagues in the Product Management team
- Build relationships and work with key opinion leaders, universities, end-users and partners across the world to gather input for a superior solution and help promote and drive our solutions into the markets.
- Travel frequently to end-users, exhibitions and conferences (expect around 20-30 days of travel per year, primarily in Europe and the US)
Qualifications:
- A background in science, engineering or technology at a MSc level and with at least 3 years of work experience with Product Management.
- Understanding of and preferably experience with medical devices and software
- Flair for technology, user interface design and the ability to translate customer and market needs into successful products
- An open and curious mind looking to explore a rapidly changing industry
- Ability to work in a complex business environment and maintain the interests, goals and priorities from many stakeholders.
- Strong communicator that can identify important elements in complex issues and present them effectively using written, verbal, and visual communication.
- Highly self-motivated and able to build strong relationship to colleagues, customers and partners.
- A great team player who is energized by interacting and collaborating cross-functionally with many different personalities and backgrounds.
- Knowledge about dental products or markets will be an advantage.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional major languages will be considered a plus.
