In our Sales & Business Area organisation, you join 4 colleagues in our Land Power product management team. With eyes on our market trends and our product strategies, we are developing our existing platforms and preparing to launch the future platform for control solutions to the global Prime Power industry.
Therefore, we need you to ensure that your products meet the needs and demands of our global customers – you will be product manager for the Plant Management Systems and generator controls for the IPP (Independent Power Producers) and rental market
”Your primary task will be to analyse the market – customer needs as well as competitors and their prices and solutions – and based on that knowledge, you ensure we develop the exact technical features that our customers want and need,” explains Business Area Manager Badri Narayanan Suresh .
Be part of retaining our leadership position in Prime Power sub segment
DEIF has a leading position in the Prime Power Sub segment with leading IPP (Independent Power Producers) and Rental companies working with us. We have also introduced solutions that meets the demands of the new Grid Code VDE 4110 and G99, the environmental regulations for emissions Tier 4 F and Stage V
We have the pleasure and challenge of retaining this leadership position and you as the product manager will play an important role in this effort.

- Work strategically with your own, complex product portfolio, as you define tasks and focus areas in the development of our products
- Collaborate closely with Sales, subsidiaries and distributors as well as R&D – you will be the technical expert to your sales colleagues and define new development focus areas for R&D
- Will be part of a global market leader who develops new ways of reducing fuel consumption and maintenance expenses for the world’s power generating industries

Technical background combined with a commercial interest
- You have preferably 5 to 7 years of experience in product management
- You have knowledge of generator control and automation from the Diesel / Gas Generator industry. Exposure to working with large Independent power producer / rental companies will be an advantage.
- You have a commercial approach, allowing you to understand how technical development and business work together
- You are able to travel 45 days per year to e.g. exhibitions and customer meetings
- You speak and write English effortlessly
