The Procurement team is now looking for a Procurement Specialist – Installation for KONE in Denmark. The role is based in Ballerup outside Copenhagen or Kista, Stockholm and reports to the Category Manager – Installation.
What’s the job all about?
As a Procurement Specialist for Installation suppliers, you will have a versatile role where both tactic as well as administrative and operative tasks will be a part of it. You will be responsible for delivering according the KONE and Procurement strategy. You will be working with the installation category within our Procurement team, executing procurement plans for KONE Scandinavia while working closely together with the local Operations department. You identify local procurement opportunities, including potential savings. You ensure correct delivery, quality, and price within this category with a focus on creating sustainable partnerships. You will act as contract owner for selected suppliers.
You will:
- Work with business functions and our five regions to understand their business needs and also assist in our stakeholders complying with our Global Purchasing Policy.
- Manage and develop KONE´s current supplier base within the Installation category and identify local procurement opportunities, as well as increase the usage of the company´s preferred suppliers.
- Act as contract owner for local installation suppliers and negotiate frame agreements and price lists with suppliers to be used by business in KONE Scandinavia.
- Support the implementation of global/area category plans within KONE Scandinavia.
- Meet physically with suppliers and colleagues in the Scandinavian countries; occasional travelling to KONE Headquarters and other locations will also be required.
What do you bring to the role in order to succeed?
- At least 2-3 years of procurement experience in manufacturing or related industries and other relevant areas. Experience from categoryresponsibility is a merit.
- Business acumen, proven track record of strong business partnering; ability to provide actionable insights, influence decision-making and proactively drive business performance.
- Stakeholder and Change management, skills within project- and contract management accompanied by excellent negotiation skills.
- Understanding of Purchasing process (PtoP) in preferably SAP or in another ERP system.
- Fluent level (spoken and written) of English and preferably also Swedish/Danish, but not a requirement.
- Extra desirable is if you have deeper experience of purchasing processes such as P2P and have knowledge and experience in communication
