About the department

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international, high performing team in Køge, Denmark. You will work within the sales & marketing department, and in close collaboration with the sales team and business development organization you will ensure that we establish the correct strategies and approach for our existing and new products in the market. You will also support marketing to develop state-of-the-art sales promotion materials for our products.

The position

The product manager is responsible for:

Gathering information and make a market and competitor analysis to enable the correct direction to position the products in pricing, strategy, accounts and regional variation.

Developing a 5 year sales and marketing strategy and execute an annual tactical plan for cell culture ingredients and Quats.

Supporting the business development team in evaluation and then launch of new products.

Developing scientific compelling data with partner and then advantageously position this into the market.

Developing and maintain product related data like data sheets, sales labels and safety data sheets.

Introduction and launch of new products, handling existing product portfolio and phase-out products.

Ensuring optimization of product technical content on website. Prepare texts of a technical nature for marketing activities and campaigns.

Being supportive of other functions if required. Ensure coordination of the implementation and follow release of the first batch of a product variant.

Support sales area in relation to the daily sales work by the identification of sales leads, technical support, answering customer requests including QAA’s and if needed visit customers.

Manage external partners collaborating with S&M.

Qualifications

Pharmacist, molecular biologist or equivalent natural science education to a min of masters level. Min. 5 years commercial experience in an international setup. High proficiency in English speech and writing. Network in the cell culture market.

We expect candidates to be service minded, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Fluency in both oral and written English, ability to manage a large volume of projects (with supervision), sound personal judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
