With direct reference to the Head of Operational Quality, you will be part of a newly established Operational Quality team of 12 colleagues who are primarily responsible for ensuring good quality of the products that enter and leave the factories. The team has both operational tasks that are carried out by the quality personnel in the individual factories as well as tasks with ongoing improvement of methods, structures and quality processes in the production. Together, we constantly work to ensure that Kamstrup’s customers receive the desired quality.
A job with focus on quality improvement and assurance of quality targets
In the newly established position as Quality Engineer, you will work across the factories with the purpose of improving the quality in close cooperation with your colleagues and other functions at Kamstrup. You will also assist the individual factory with specific quality tasks such as non-conformity management or verification of the quality level at process and product changes. You will play a central role in the deployment of the Operational Quality function’s tactical action plans for the continuous improvement of the quality targets. It is thus a versatile job with a lot of various quality tasks.
Your primary tasks will be to:
Personality matters
You have a technical background as an engineer or similar and minimum 3 years of documented experience with quality work from a production company. In addition, it is an asset if you have thorough knowledge of the following:
In addition, it is a benefit if you have knowledge of the IPC standard and have completed a Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt education.
You are structured and persistent and are motivated by getting to the bottom of a task, without letting it affect the productivity. In addition, you are impactful and can at any time challenge the way that things are done if you see a better way that can improve the quality of our products. Furthermore, you are excellent at creating relations across the organisation for the benefit of solving tasks. You are used to working in a dynamic environment where the pace is high and where you work along multiple tracks at the same time.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken Danish and English.

- Assist in executing improvements identified through non-conformity management (the 8D method)
- Implement improvements in quality tools and quality processes in the production
- Ensure education, training and coaching in the use of quality tools in the production
- Participate in NPI projects as a representative of Operational Quality
- Ensure follow-up on and analysis of Operational Quality’s KPI’S as well as recommend improvements
