Strategic Procurement Manager, Offshore Wind

European Energy covers all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early project development to operation and/or divestment of the assets. We are 360 employees with 30 different nationalities, and since 2004 we have installed more than 100 renewable projects representing a total value of more than DKK 15 billion. Currently, we have a development pipeline exceeding 25 GW and operate globally with our head quarter located in Copenhagen and offices in Sweden, United Kingdom, Romania, Poland, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain and more to come. Our mission is to be a significant force in the global transition to a fossil free society.
As our Strategic Procurement Manager you will be part of our Offshore wind team, which handles the development of our projects globally. We are currently working on projects totaling 900 MW in development stage in Denmark and we expect to start construction work in 2024-2025 and we have goals to grow our pipeline even further. As Strategic Procurement Manager your primary focus will be identifying potential suppliers for our near and offshore wind projects and supervise tender processes. The team is currently being build up and therefore you will get an impact on the development of your position as well as the projects you are involved. In your workday you will get to work with suppliers, partners, advisors, and subcontractors in close collaboration with financial, legal and technical colleagues.

- To develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies related to our global offshore projects
- Identify and engage suppliers and consultants
- Coordinate commercial negotiations of supply and installation contracts
- Coordinate tender processes
- Work with professional suppliers, partners, and sub-contractors
Professional skills we expect from you
- You have completed a bachelor or master at university level or an equivalent institution within engineering, business administration, economics, finance etc.
- At least 5 years of experience from a similar role
- Experience with the offshore wind energy industry
- Full professional proficiency in English
