European Energy covers all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and/or divestment of assets. Our company has since 2004 installed more than 1,000 MW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 20 different nationalities at our office in Søborg, Copenhagen. Our mission is to be a significant force in the global transition to a fossil free society.
As our new Sourcing and Procurement Manager, you will be part of the Sourcing and Procurement team. The team is integrated in the EPC division of European Energy, which has the overall responsibility for the planning, design and construction of our utility scale PV plants globally. We work with professional suppliers, partners and sub-contractors for the completion of the sites. Your daily work will be in the frontline of the renewable energy business.

As our new Sourcing and Procurement Manager, you will be part of the Sourcing and Procurement team. The team is integrated in the EPC division of European Energy, which has the overall responsibility for the planning, design and construction of our utility scale PV plants globally. We work with professional suppliers, partners and sub-contractors for the completion of the sites. Your daily work will be in the frontline of the renewable energy business.
Your areas of responsibilities
- Sourcing of suppliers, contractors and collaboration partners
- Building up and maintaining relationship to our growing supplier base
- Preparation of tender material for sourcing of electrical and mechanical components in accordance with design specifications
- Commercial analysis for internal key decisions
- Execute purchase process according to project timeline and budget
- Lead in contractual negotiations from beginning to end
Professional skills we expect from you
- You have completed a bachelor or master at university level within business and economics or engineering
- At least 5 years of experience within project management and sourcing, preferably from a similar role or with background from EPC or PV module supplier
- Knowledge and interest of the renewable energy industry, primarily solar PV is an advantage
- You are an expert user in MS Office
- You master English at a professional level
- Due to high sourcing activity from mainland China, Chinese language skills at professional level or mother tongue are of advantage
