The Big Picture:
Howden Axial Fans (HAX) in Naestved, Denmark is currently looking for a customer-oriented Proposal Engineer for our Aftermarket segment.
The Proposal Engineer will support the aftermarket growth and assist in securing bookings for spares, service and retrofit on our own installed base as well as other installed bases.
In close relationship with both sales and order execution, the Proposal Engineer will service all customers in a professional manner, and aim to secure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
As a Proposal Engineer with Howden we expect you to work consistently with a focus on securing on-time delivery of support and quotations to our customer and business partners.

What needs to be done?
- Create Aftermarket proposals for spare parts, service and retrofit solutions
- Provide World-Class Customer Support and documentation
- Deliver Back office support to the External Sales force
- Support the execution of orders, retrofit- and aftermarket projects
What do you need to bring?
- A relevant technical background, combined with substantial experience, preferably from machinery /heavy industries.
- Experience from working within an international environment is essential, as there will be daily interaction with colleagues from around the globe.
- English, which we expect you to master fluently verbal and written.
- A systematic and analytical approach to tasks and assignments
- Supportive, friendly and efficient when communicating with colleagues and customers.
- Service-minded and good at understanding and identifying customer needs
- Persistent and able to work independently
