Can you handle complex analytical challenges in a diverse set of stakeholders and suppliers? Then, you may be the Associate Supply Manager we are looking for.

About the department

Primary Pack Supply is part of Sourcing Operations (SoOp) responsible for planning, purchasing, distribution and warehousing of the thousands of materials going into the production worldwide. Our common goal is to ensure reliable supply of quality products (raw and packaging materials) in regulatory compliance at a competitive cost to Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites globally.

You will join a dynamic team of 6 employees, consisting of dedicated supply planners and supply managers. Our team is responsible for driving the supply chain across SoOp in becoming more robust, effective and efficient while ensuring compliance. SoOp is anchored in D&S (Devices & Supply Chain Management in Product Supply)

The position

You will be responsible for securing the supply of primary packing materials while driving category optimization projects within an item category, and across the inbound supply chain with the purpose of total cost optimizing. The scope of the projects or changes can vary, e.g. focus towards the suppliers, the manufacturing sites, forecasting process or compliance related matters.

You are expected to identify better practices, drive process improvements and act as a role model in the category and department. You will be managing internal stakeholders on all levels and external suppliers as well as communicate and present on management level. Further, you will be managing the cross-organisational category team on a tactical level.

This is a job with a high degree of independence where results are achieved through collaboration with your stakeholders. The position is temporary for 24 months but will be permanent if the opportunity arises.

Qualifications

You have a MSc in supply chain management or similar, supplemented with a proven track record within the supply chain management field. You might be a former graduate.

You are a high performer with drive, and have proven skills within; project mgmt., stakeholder mgmt., communication and presentation. You have a strong analytical mindset – both in terms of data and processes. You communicate effectively, meet deadlines and approach tasks in a structured way. You are a dedicated team player who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners. You have a positive attitude towards challenges and see continuous improvement as a natural part of your job.

You have excellent IT skills and working with Excel and PowerPoint is a natural part of your work day. As you will be working in a GMP environment, it is important that you are quality-conscious. Fluent in English is a prerequisite.
