Our manufacturing network stretches across much of the globe. With offices in Oslo, North of Copenhagen, Jönköping, Helsinki, Leeds, and Shanghai, we are in an attractive position to offer our customers bespoke manufacturing and access to a wide range of high-quality products. To achieve the best possible quality, it is often necessary to source components or raw materials from multiple suppliers. And, since most of our manufacturing facilities are highly specialized, our team manages this complex value chain for you.

Operations Manager

Main tasks and responsibilities

Your role will, in short, be to improve and develop the overall planning, supply chain, delivery, forecasting, procurement, and reduction of operational costs while driving operational excellence and ensure profitability.

We are looking for someone who enjoys negotiating favorable deals and understands the activities required for successful service delivery. Thriving in both independent and team-oriented work is crucial, and demonstrating a genuine interest in the company’s development, along with being motivated to achieve your goals, are essential qualities. Taking responsibility and preferring to work in a structured manner to accomplish tasks are also key attributes. Given that the delivery in Dellia Denmark is fragmented and dispersed across the country, excellent organizational skills are required.

Active participation in task forces aimed at resolving urgent operational issues to ensure smooth business operations is expected. You will also contribute to identifying needs and improving insight data solutions within the domain to enhance operational efficiency. Keep track / maintain/ update of all product data such as GS1 – price / profit tracking / accounting and others.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience and track record in related fields, including supply chain, operations, planning, and S&OP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, HD, or a related field from a Consumer Goods or FMCG company.
  • Proficient in the English language, both verbally and in written communication. (German is an advantage but not a requirement.)

Personal characteristics

  • Honest, responsible, reliable, and organized individual with a strong ability to follow through and a high work capacity. High degree of responsibility for both Dellia and clients.
  • Flexible, optimistic, and meticulous are skills that are necessary in this role! Moreover, you need to have solid commercial, financial, and analytical skills, with a strong focus on making a profit for Dellia.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with an ambitious personality with a desire to take ownership and responsibility.
  • Quickly adapting to new technology and ability to monitor service quality, identify trends in customer challenges, and implement improvements.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of communicating with vendors and suppliers in the most productive way.
  • Problem Solver: Proficient in handling and resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly and accurately.
  • Intrinsic drive to contribute to building a successful company challenging established players in the Danish FMCG sector.
