Would you like to challenge your mechanical engineering knowledge in global projects and to exchange ideas with competent colleagues across the organisation? And to see the result of your work in the form of automated logistic systems bringing together electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and software?

Take part in designing complex solutions

In Logistic Systems Engineering we design automated parcel handling systems which are designed to handle a wide range of parcels and to support later cut-off times in a time-sensitive industry. As our intern, you will participate in making the mechanical design, projecting and documentation and assist our mechanical experts with sub-projects as well as day-to-day tasks. Your tasks will include:Standardization of existing productsConversion from old to new CAD systemConstruction and assembly guidesBuilding and pre-testing of test equipmentMechanical design of safety gates on chutesContribute to design of inductionsContribute in team meetings with a focus on different product tasksInvolvement in sustained engineering tasks across our standard products; sorters, inductions and chutes"Everyone was very helpful and kind and I never felt like an intern because my colleagues treated me as an equal team member. Gain valuable experience in a specialist environment

You will be part of the team on equal terms with the rest of your colleagues and will be provided with a dedicated mentor, ensuring that you will have all the necessary tools and knowledge to get going, and will be supporting you during the entire internship.

Moreover you will have the opportunity to spend time with our interns across the organisation and share your knowledge and experiences.

Interested?

You are currently studying Production Technology or similar and are available to start your internship in August 2024. You are motivated to test your theoretical knowledge and to work in a project-oriented environment, where you have the opportunity to take as much responsibility as you like.

The internship is paid and will last for appr. 5 months – the exact period will be agreed with your manager.
