Job Description
The Spool Valves Solution (SVS) within Danfoss Power Solutions Segment consistently experiences high order intake and aspires for developing the business. Therefore, we are looking for a Production Engineer to join our PVE Operations department within SVS. This department consist of six highly dedicated and skilled Engineers who prioritize teamwork and embrace diversity.
Your contribution is important in sustaining and advancing our growth journey while developing and improve our KPIs, with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. This involves implementing automation and adopting a "work smarter" approach to ensure continuous improvements.
This position is ideal for you if you see yourself working with highly technical products and processes, thrive with various task, a dynamic work environment, and a developing organization in growth.
Job Responsibilities
You will play a crucial role in securing the production foundation by utilization of RCPS (Root Cause Problem Solving), IATF16949, DPP (Danfoss Productivity Program), and contributing to the development of our MES/MOM and database setup/structure.
When you participate in NPD projects (New Product Development) you will be the operational representative effecting process changes, handling process documentation (PPAP), and taking charge of problem-solving throughout the implementation until the final production.
Finally, you will also contribute to automating and/or upgrading various production processes to achieve higher output, better quality, and reduced costs in daily operation.
Background & Skills
There are many ways into this role for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced technician or an engineer by education, we value some years of experience in a similar role. However, we are also open to recently graduated engineers with the right attitude.
Most important is that you are experienced or a natural flair for working with IT, MES/MOM systems and database structure, with a keen interest in further developing these skills.
Familiarity with SAP, Lean methods, six sigma, and IATF16949 where you have been working with Process flows, PFMEAs, and control plans is an advantage.
As we operate in a multicultural and international environment, proficiency in English is needed. For this role, basic proficiency in Danish is also required or a strong willingness to quickly learn and develop proficiency.
On a more personal level, you demonstrate strength in teamwork, possess effective communication skills, and have a project-oriented mindset. Your analytical skills enable you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, showcasing a results-driven approach.
