Elis is Denmark’s leading textile service provider. We rent, wash and deliver quality textiles and fully serviced hygiene solutions, supported by our innovative digital platform Elis Connect.

The position
Elis is looking for an IT Product Manager, who is passionate about developing products that provide day-to-day operational benefits to clients across Europe via the platform Elis Connect. You will be working at our IT offices in Denmark, Søborg, and you will be reporting to the Traceability Manager at our French headquarters. Furthermore, you will participate actively to the Elis Connect traceability program: A digital platform aiming at providing business relevant data to internal and external customers.

Your key responsibilities
As IT Product Manager, you will be responsible for transforming strategic and commercial ambitions into great solutions. You will be responsible for managing different development tracks with our external supplier as well as coordinating with the Traceability team at the Elis HQ in France and the Product Owner in Sales & Marketing. You are expected to visit the French headquarters approximately once a month.

Your daily tasks will entail:

• Daily Scrum with the development team, inspecting progress towards Sprint Goals
• Conducting sprint planning, sprint reviews and reviewing the burndown chart
• Overall project management of ongoing development projects regarding Elis Connect
• Ensuring great coordination and communication between the external supplier (2trace), the Traceability Domain Manager and the Product Owner at Elis HQ
• Manage the planning, supplier cost and timeline for upgrades, feature development (or removal of features) and making sure that maintenance and support is delivered
• Resource planning of rollouts of the Elis Connect platform to new countries
• Customer visits around Europe to ensure proper setups at customer sites

Your experience and qualifications
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, being part of IT /software development projects. You understand commercial business needs and can translate these into services and solutions. Experience in SCRUM (or Scaled Agile Framework) is a requirement. Experience may include working with apps, IoT devices, SaaS or client interface solutions, etc.

We expect you to have an IT background, equivalent of a technical education at least at the Bachelor level. Examples may include Software Engineering, IT-Technology, Computer Scientist (Datamatiker), etc.

The skills that will make you succeed are:

• Mastering of Agile methodology
• IT project management – including great people and communication skills
• Knowledge of frameworks and technical terminology as well as experience in Jira (or similar project software)
• Ability to translate business requirement into IT development
