As Test & Release Manager at EMD International, you will be part of a dedicated software development team that focuses on product innovation of existing and future software products and technologies for a sustainable future and renewable energy. EMD collects and systematises the latest research, development, and experience within sustainable energy systems and passes on this knowledge through the continuous development of innovative and value-adding software products and consultancy services.

You will have the overall responsibility for test and release management within all software product categories. The responsibility includes evaluating and developing standardised test methodologies and processes fit to all products and product development processes as well as planned releases.

Your main tasks are:

• Development of test system
• Develop a strategy for the test management
• Report test results and data insights
• Planning, resource allocation, and handling test cases
• Contribute to the setup of automated tests
• Error diagnostics: Reproduce errors based on user-reports
• Inspection of user-contributed error reports (database)
• Release Management
• Enhance security mindset in the organisation, support knowledge sharing and continuously training

You have a strong technical background, with the ability to quickly understand new technologies and preferably a background in software testing and experience with test management tools.

You have either a professional Bachelor’s degree and experience from a similar job or a Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering or similar.

You have average experience with the maintenance of various IT programs andreinstallations of these, and you have knowledge of development tools such as SQL, scripting, HTML, and coding in various programming languages.

You have a high level of spoken and written English and preferably a reasonable level of Danish competencies.

You are a person who is a team player and believes in goals reached through the unison of high competencies and collaboration. On behalf of the cause you are goal-oriented and determined, you have an analytical mindset and not least, you are enthusiastic to contribute to the green transition.
