Quality is at the top of the Flügger agenda. Flügger is a high-quality brand within the decorative paint segment, with own production of paint, filler, tools etc. in multiple countries. With the new footprint project Flügger has rebuild and automated latex production, built a new filler factory and updated tools and plastic production set-up, and the changes require end-to-end reassessment of quality processes, KPIs and training on both inbound, production, outbound & maintenance. Lastly, Flügger is driving a strong Going Green agenda with strong focus on environmentally friendly products and more than 80% of our wet goods sold being eco-labelled, which - combined with increasing regulatory requirements – requires even stronger focus on Quality processes.
We are therefore expanding the Group QHSE team. Are you our new colleague?
You will join the team of QHSE specialists in Group QHSE, responsible for setting standards, leading improvement initiatives, and supporting local QES colleagues. Group QHSE is driving multiple change agenda and prioritized Flügger MWBs on both Quality and Environment, which you will participate in or drive. You will work closely together with colleagues from Product, R&D, RA, & Procurement, as well as colleagues at all the production sites and warehouses across countries, as well as suppliers and external partners.
You will be responsible for:
• Setting the quality standards for Flügger, based on ISO standards, legislation, and the Flügger DNA as a producer of high-quality brand
• Plan and execute internal & external assessments and audits in collaboration with colleagues in QHSE, support functions & manufacturing sites
• Communicate and train local QES and stakeholders across Flügger
• Set the quality standards for suppliers, and execute on QHSE assessment of suppliers, inside and outside of Europe
• Facilitate process changes following new footprint on both inbound, production, outbound, and maintenance
• Run the process for Claim & Non-conformity handling including detailed root cause analysis
• Secure KPI reporting and data-based improvement initiatives
• Secure risk assessments and a balanced approach between proactive and reactive quality management
• Participate in improvement initiatives and MWBs on Quality optimization, Flügger Management system 2.0 and other important cross-functional projects.
Our new colleague is proactive and ambitious as well as supportive and service minded. Methodical and structured while pragmatic. Can set direction and standards, but also execute and get things done.
We expect you to have experience with end-to-end quality work from a similar position in a manufacturing company of similar size and complexity. You have strong stakeholder engagement skills and are used with communicate to stakeholders globally, across functions.
Additionally, we expect:
• You have significant knowledge within ISO9001, preferably with a lead auditor background. Experience with other standards is an advantage
• You are experienced with developing and driving management systems
• Your toolbox within quality management is broad, including non-conformity methodology, testing and control set-up etc.
• You have a flair for production processes and production equipment.
As colleagues, suppliers, and external partners are in various functions and countries, you are expected to thrive in a culturally diverse company, and you are fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages as well as English. Some travel activity to sites and suppliers should be expected.
