Are you a communicative person who wants to work with certifications, tests, and documentation?
For a job in an exciting international working environment, we seek a technically-minded person with great communication skills, both in cross-organisational and external communication with certification and documentation stakeholders.
Job description
As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating complex processes within tests and certification and for ensuring that national and international approvals are complied with and maintained.
In cooperation with the rest of the team, you will also prepare and maintain datasheets and other technical documents.
You will develop good relations within the company's local sales forces as well as with certification institutes around the world. The position therefore requires commitment and as well as the ability to work independently and create relationships.
Cembrit develops and manufactures fibre cement panels, primarily for roof and facade cladding. As Technical Manager within certification and documentation management, you will help to ensure that the company's products meet internal and external requirements and specifications.
Your primary tasks
Your primary function as a Technical Manager is to implement and coordinate test and certification processes. When a certification decision is made, your primary task will be planning and communication with the certifying institution regarding the certifying process in order to find the best pragmatic solution and clarify the documentation needed.
Interdisciplinary communication and co-ordination with colleagues and local offices regarding the certification processes are a necessity in order to fulfill the requests from the markets and ensure the product has the necessary approvals before being offered for sale.
Together with your team, you will be a crucial player in maintaining and obtaining certification in compliance with national and European rules and guidelines.
In short, your tasks are communication, coordination and documentation in this exciting area. The estimation is that the extrovert part of the workload will amount to approximately half of your working hours, and coordination and documentation will constitute the remaining part.
Who are you
You must have a structured approach to your work and similar processes that require persistence.
• You are preferably a trained engineer, an engineer or have other relevant technical training.
• You have experience with tests and certifications within building materials.
• You have experience from the construction industry, e.g. the cement segment.
• You are persistent and structured and have full focus on reaching your goal.
• You are able to communicate on a high technical level in speech and writing in Danish, English and preferably French.

As the Technical Manager, you will thus be responsible for identifying and complying with local requirements and specifications for approval in the individual markets.
