The Company
Our customer is a globally operating group, with headquarters in Denmark. The group has app. 3.000 employees in total, and the turnover is app. DKK 3 billions. The company produces various food products, targeting the high-end market in European retail chains a.o. Most of the food production takes place in Eastern Europe.
The Assignment
At this specific location, app. 35 employees perform different customer related functions. The Customer Quality team consists of four persons, with daily reference to the Manager for Innovation and Marketing. The primary purpose of this team is to ensure that the customers are content with the quality of the food.
The Team is currently short of staff and it has been decided to engage an Interim Customer Quality Specialist.
The most important tasks for this interim (3-4 months) position are:
The Candidate
The right candidate is a competent specialist with hands-on experience from the food industry, and preferably from a similar role with focus on quality assurance and the regulatory area. A technical or scientific education (or similar) is preferred. Experience within auditing is an advantage.
English and Danish at a high level (in speaking and writing) is required in order to succeed in this position. Further language skills such as German or French is highly appreciated.
Our customer uses MS Office and M3 as ERP system.
The right candidate has an analytical, detail-oriented and well-structured approach to the assignments. A quality conscious candidate with an accommodating nature will thrive best in this team. At the same time, strong follow-up skills and persistency is needed, as well as helpfulness and a great deal of flexibility; being able to handle many different tasks on a daily basis.
The team has a lot of different assignments every day and therefore it is important to be a committed teamplayer.
Hands-on experience from the food industry is a must.

- To review, update and approve raw material specifications
- Supplier management
- Quality assurance regarding both suppliers and customers
- To ensure the necessary documentation
- Performing risk assessments of raw materials
- Being a sparring partner to the colleagues
- Handling customer specifications, feedback and complaints
- Ad hoc tasks
