About the Position
As a Product Specialist Automation engineer, you will join a team of over 25 innovative colleagues, you will focus on supporting line solutions for ice cream production equipment.
Responsibilities Include
- Designing, developing, and implementing PLC-based software solutions for equipment.
- Continuous improvement of existing software solutions and management of the code base.
- Collaborating with the Product Manager to define and execute automation roadmap and plans for projects and technical tasks.
- Providing technical and commercial support to colleagues and customers, including support for sales with cost calculations and evaluation of technical solutions.
- Commissioning and troubleshooting equipment, both remotely and at customer sites.
- Ensuring the provision of technical documentation and manuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in PLC programming and automation solutions.
- Strong technical leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to travel, approximately 20 days per year.
