You will work out of our headquarters in Ballerup where you will report to the Senior Director, Global Product Management, Core & Portfolio Strategy, in a department that values integrity, collaboration and results with speed highly.
Global position with a huge impact
We are looking for a Senior Pricing Manager to drive decisions on global discount approval thresholds and lead development of standardized pricing methods, processes, and tools. You will drive the development of our pricing strategy in close collaboration with key stakeholders, and you will develop and maintain our pricing architecture by driving the commercial agenda in enabling CRM projects. Your key stakeholders will include Sales management, Product Management, Health Economics, and Portfolio Strategy – and you will facilitate the cooperation with them and ensure input from these key stakeholders.
As Senior Pricing Manager your responsibilities will include:
• Define price approval processes and ensure that they are anchored in the CRM system
• Train and roll out new price practices to the regional Sales offices
• Analyze current pricing practices across regions, and suggest areas for improvement
• Create scenarios modelling price/volume impact of different potential price strategies
• For new launches, develop tools and processes for value-based pricing, and facilitate price-setting process bridging input from Product Management, Health Economics, and Portfolio
Strategy, and assess impact of choices on long-term profitability models
Key competences
To succeed in this position, you most likely have experience within medical device industry. You have a strong commercial mindset and a good understanding of what it takes to succeed in the market. Your experience or skillset enables you to learn fast and gives you the ability to understand the user needs that drives innovation and translate them to both messaging and product benefits. You probably have experience in collaboration in corporate functions, and you have excellent stakeholder management skills. You have strong analytical skills and a solid commercial orientation. You are able to maintain a structured approach to a complex area, and you have experience with price setting/price governance processes. It is an advantage, if you have experience with designing commercial processes, and can distil and communicate complex information in a simple manner.
You probably hold a degree in business or other commercial areas. It is natural for you to work in a manner where you can present your analysis, findings, and recommendations in a convincing manner to many stakeholders.
As a person, you are analytical, self-driven and have a “can do” attitude. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork and when conditions allow it, travelling to key markets is expected.
