- Mechanical and electrical design processes
- Integrated product development
- Basics behind doing product specifications
- Verification and validation of product designs
- Product development - Stage gate mindset
- Continuous Improvement methods
- Difference between concepts and detailed designs
How to contribute to our vision
Following responsibilities is expected as a crucial part of being a Quality Lead:
- Coaching Project Managers in process application
- Tailoring of our stage gate model to fit actual project scopes
- Governing that the stage gate model is followed: process, tools, methods and stakeholder involvement
- Monitoring process performance
- Managing Gate and Milestone passages
- Uncovering risks and address deviations
- Constantly improve processes and tools and aligning these with the Q-lead team across the project portfolio
- Perform deep dives to clarify that the processes are followed and used correctly
- Steering committee gate keeper towards upper management
As part of being Quality Lead it is expected that you are skilled in people change management, conflict handling and you manage to keep the quality integrity high towards your stakeholders.

- Has experience in working with design projects – maybe as a project manager
- Can handle complex cases and projects and structure large amounts of data without losing overview
- Is be able to influence many stakeholders to obtain high quality
- Is structured and is abile to interpret processes is sound
- Possess strong communication skills and manage to keep calm in turbulent situations
- Has good English skills both orally and writing is a must
