On behalf of our client Milestone, we are looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner who will work cross-functionally with other both external and internal interfaces.
As Milestone’s focus is on growing the business further, you will have the responsibility to manage value engineering in the development phase and to maximize the market requirement fulfillment in balance with the technical and financial limitations to meet their business targets. That means using your capabilities to co-edit Epics and writes Feature to ensure that the Business needs are fulfilled. You need to have a deep understanding of the solutions and how they integrate with business processes. Furthermore you need to be able to speak business with IT and technology with the Business.
In the Hardware Operations Unit they strive to ensure that the products and processes are in place, in order for the field and support organization to sell and support the manufactured products. Your closest interfaces are the Product Manager, Business Function and the Feature team, for whom you shall be the interface in between.
- Align on Minimal Viable Product in an epic with Product Management or the Business Function and understand the scope
- Prioritize Features based on epic prioritization. The Epics are coming from both Product Management as well as Feature Teams
- Drive and motivate a cross-functional development structure
- Ensure that problems are translated into solutions by collaborating with Product Management and having Feature Teams to define the solution
- Drive and motivate a cross-functional development structure, to ensure on-time delivery
- Ensure delivery of the product, so that it is orderable and usable
- Be a true team player within the Hardware Operations Team
Furthermore, you should be able to apply this through leadership and a sound technical interest as well as strong planning skills.
- Master’s Degree within Computer Science or Engineering
- Five years of experience with project management and product ownership
- Experience from Agile development
- Ability to manage value engineering in the development phase
- Highly self-motivated
- Creative problem-solving skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Full proficiency in written and spoken English
- Experience from cloud services
Besides the above requirements, it would be a plus if you have:
- Experience in working with sales tools
- Experience with AWS
- Experience from the surveillance industry
- Experience from the computer or electronics industry
You will join the Hardware Operation Unit and make an impact in growing one of the Business Lines within the Milestone group. In the team, a variety of specialist competences is present such as software development, hardware development, supply chain management, quality management and product compliance.
