On behalf of Scalepoint, Randstad is looking for a Head of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to ensure that Scalepoint’s customers – 26 large insurance companies – will have the most optimal procurement contracts. Scalepoint handles procurement on behalf of insurance customers in the ClaimShop, and they need you on the team as the Procurement team deserves to be led by a leader who will show the way, motivate the good and competent colleagues and create a difference for the customers.

Scalepoint has employees from 11 nationalities, spread across offices in Copenhagen, Poland and Switzerland, 63% of the employees ride a bike to work, 42% eat vegetarian lunch, 38% are parents, and 52% do not work out on a regular basis. The unofficial and self-declared minister of sports tries to create a movement by introducing soccer and a running club. As Head of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, you will play a key role in Scalepoint’s expansion strategy.? You will take on a very exciting position where you will define and execute the right procurement and sourcing strategy matching customer needs on both existing Nordic markets and new European markets.

- Strategic procurement
As the person responsible for determining the optimal purchasing strategy, you have an eye for the customers' needs. You do your research and orientate yourself in the market, when you and your team have to define the strategy for existing markets in Scandinavia and DACH. When you participate in customer and supplier meetings, you will use your analytical mindset to ensure that the development of Scalepoint's solutions and agreements is targeted at customers' needs and developments in the market.
- Personnel management
You are passionate about communicating the procurement strategy, and as a leader you have a major stake in establishing and maintaining a high professional level in your team. You are a skilled communicator and use your stakeholder management skills to strengthen collaboration and relationship building to achieve good results with the purchasing strategy.
- Business understanding
You have worked with consulting in connection with strategic procurement before. You will run Scalepoint's expert unit in relation to supplier analyzes, category knowledge, contractual relations, etc. by analyzing, understanding and prioritizing measures to find the right solutions. As part of that process, you will visit Scalepoint’s partners 10-15 days a year.
What to dive into
You will act as a “playing coach” for a team of currently 3 skilled Category Managers. You are passionate about optimizing the current network, but are at least just as hungry to explore new opportunities.
- Process optimization
After the first cup of coffee, you will spend some of your time and thought on optimizing the processes in the team. You will optimize supplier agreements as well as the product range, and you always have a good solution up your sleeve.
- Management
- Relationship building
You will build strong relationships with Claim Directors and Supply Chain departments at insurance companies in the Nordics and Europe. Maintaining an ongoing dialogue with these will ensure that you are always updated on their needs and requirements.
- Proactive
You are always at the forefront and do not give up. Your focus will be on enhancing skills and capabilities within procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier agreements, etc.

As the right candidate for the position as Head of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, you are fluent in Danish and English. You have a solid background with strategic sourcing and procurement and preferably +3 years’ experience from a similar position.
