Georg Jensen is looking for a structured and proactive VM & Store Design Administrative Planner who will be responsible for communication and coordination within both Visual Merchandising and Store Design.

You will report directly to the Creative Director who manages both the Design & Product Development and the VM & Store Design Department. The VM & Store Design team consists of 6 highly dedicated and passionate employees who all strive to develop and maintain the company’s aesthetic visual standards. The position is located at our beautiful HQ in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, close to metro and public bus.

The role

The position is a cross functional administrative function supporting VM & Store Design regarding master data creation and ordering of store fixtures and display materials. The position also supports the Creative Director regarding administrative tasks within the department such as budget management and being point of contact for the finance department. The criteria for success in this position will be the ability to prepare budget estimates, follow-up on monthly accounts and work cross departmentally with several stakeholders.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Master data creation, maintenance, and order management for all VM display material
  • Point of contact for suppliers, coordination of all administrative tasks connected to both VM and Store Design
  • Planning of design and of ordering Store Design materials for new retail stores, store renovations, POP ups and Trade Fairs
  • Master data creation and maintenance of Store Design materials
  • Create and maintain Master sheets of fixtures
  • Order management of 3rd party items for Retail and Wholesale
  • Ordering of special store features
  • Point of contact for markets/sales regarding Store Design related questions
  • Prepare yearly budgets for the Design & Product Development department (OPEX and CAPEX)
  • Prepare 2 – 3 budget forecasts per year for the head of department
  • Monthly follow-up on accounts
  • Preliminary invoice approval before final approval by head of department

Your Profile:

You have 3-5 years of solid experience within a similar role and preferably within the same industry.

  • Accuracy with figures and excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Adobe Power Point. Experience with Prophix, AX12 and AX3 is preferable.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the HQ organization and with our global teams
  • Business proficiency in English and Danish with strong communication skills
