Innovation Quality Engineer

As part of Corporate Quality Assurance Engineering team, you will be part of developing and introducing medical devices from design control to risk management to complaint handling.
Working from our Headquarters in Ballerup, you will join a team of colleagues in Denmark, USA and Asia, and you will refer to our Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.

In the job as Innovation Quality Engineer, you Provide proactive and professional QAE support to the development projects during planning, developing, testing and launch.
As Innovation Quality Engineer your responsibilities will include:
• Ensure safety of our products as Risk Manager in development projects throughout the development process including design transfer and post launch activities.
• Support Process improvements within QAE Department.
• Be part of a cross-functional team, and you will be working closely together with stakeholders from Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Marketing, Clinical Department and Ambu manufacturing sites
• ensure professional and proactive quality engagement in development projects
• handle risk management as part of development projects
Key competences
To succeed in this position, you most likely have experience within health care or medical device industry within quality processes and design control either in a QA or R&D, and you have experience with risk management for medical devices. You have a structured approach to your work, but at the same time, you are open-minded and see possibilities. You are a team-player with the ability to work independently.
You probably hold a degree in engineering, or other relevant area, and you have a project work oriented mindset. As a person, you are analytical, self-driven and have a “can do” attitude. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork and when conditions allow it, travelling to key markets is expected.
