Summary
The Senior Product Manager will work in a highly collaborative role to define and drive the future vision of Boomi. You’ll work with every function in the business, including Scrum teams, UX, Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Professional Services, and your peers in Product Management.
Responsibilities
- Talk with customers, partners, and analysts to bring in outside viewpoints and needs.
- Continually shape a product roadmap to illustrate our vision and plan into the future.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders such as product marketing on the creation of positioning for your products.
- Define user stories for innovation based on the market demand and opportunities.
- Work with R&D to build and launch features
- Manage the entire product line life cycle from prototyping and testing new features/products and ideas to sunsetting legacy products.
- Drive buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, assess potential partner relationships for the product.
- Analyze win/loss analysis to extrapolate opportunities product enhancements and processes improvements.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of our competition and develop strategies and tactics to reduce the threat.
Performance & Success Measures
- You will be judged by the success of your product and Boomi as a whole.
Requirements
- Experience with the following concepts and technologies is highly desirable:
- Data Catalog
- Data Preparation
- Data Integration and ETL
- Middleware and iPaaS
- Data Catalog
- At least 3 years experience working as a product manager or owner, 5 years experience in SaaS
- Tech savvy and passionate about building products
- Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.
- Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack, JIRA, Aha! and Salesforce.
- Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.
- Experience with best practice agile scrum development and lean startup principles.
- Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our buyers and users.
- Strong public speaker in front of large, senior groups.
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
