We are looking for a product owner ready to share and grow
The team is located in Herning and Warszawa. This position can be either from Herning or Roskilde. If Roskilde, there will be traveling activities to Herning.

The team consist of IT developers, business analysts and scrum master and is a part of the Custody Services department.

In order to create the best value for our customers, we have chosen to work in an agile setup according to the SAFe framework.

The department consist of 3 teams covering domain areas like custody, corporate actions, Pool investment and PAL tax. This position has focus on the custody domain.

The biggest enablers in this area are new legislation requirements combined with business requirements with focus on developing Custody applications prepared for the future.

The product owner refers to the department manager.

Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position as product owner, you will work closely with the product manager, the scrum master and the team. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Cooperation and communication on all levels, both with team and ART (Agile Release Train) management, and customers and suppliers
  • Clarifying customers’ needs and secure that expectations are aligned between BEC and the customers on an ongoing basis
  • Understand the customers’ business and need for IT solutions that supports the business
  • Responsibility for the team’s backlog and secure the right prioritization
  • Securing the team has the needed knowledge so the team can transfer the business requirements to business solutions
  • Sprint backlog refinement together with the team and scrum master

We are looking for you who love to explore and learn!
Preferably, you have an educational background at master level or a similar bank related education. You have experience working with and deep knowledge in the Capital Markets area.

As a person, we also expect you to identify with the following:

  • The ability to understand complicated requirements and transfer these into specific solutions, for example legislation requirements
  • You are structured and analytic
  • Educated in Agile and Lean methods e.g. SCRUM, Kanban or SAFe
  • Experience in processes related to IT development of digital solutions
  • Experience in development with business development of financial solutions

With colleagues in teams distributed in Denmark and Poland, you must master English and Danish at a high level both in writing and orally.
