The position
The position as International Carbohydrates Product Manager (PM) will carry the responsibility for activities supporting the commercialization of Pharmacosmos' cryopreservation business with a focus to increase sales. The role requires a scientific background combined with a business perspective. The PM will be part of the Carbohydrate Sales and Marketing team and report directly to the International Sales & Business Director.
Responsibilities
Develop, Support and Contribute to the commercialization of Pharmacosmos Cryopreservation Business
- Develop and implement strategic and operational marketing activities/plans, including launch plans, for Pharmacosmos Cryopreservation Products
- Manage Pharmacosmos’s Cryopreservation Products, establish supporting documentations, as e.g. user manuals, product sheets, etc.
- Engage in dialogue with clients, partners and stakeholders in the cell Therapy and Biobanking areas is required. This includes generation of new leads, technical support, as well as dialog with existing relations
- Engage with physicians and key opinion leaders’ at large hospitals
- Identify new applications and product opportunities
- Contribute to the IP matters
- Generate marketing materials, including contributing to partners scientific publications
- Manage relation with advertising agencies
Secondary responsibilities
- Contribute to Pharmacosmos overall Carbohydrate Business, including development of carbohydrate derivative sales
- New Carbohydrate Business opportunities
- Supporting lead generation and sales in the pharmaceutical Carbohydrate Business
- Contribute to the overall success of the Carbohydrate Business
Professional qualifications & experience
- Formal education at MSc level or higher in relevant scientific field (e.g., cell biology, chemistry, immunology,pharmacology, or medicine)
- Experienced (+ 5 years) within Sales or Commercial oriented activities, preferably within healthcare and lifesciences
- Proven track record within Pharmaceutical marketing B2B and/or to hospitals
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Established network (hospitals (notably hematology departments), blood banks, biobanks, cell therapy companies is an advantage
- Language skills:Fluency in verval and written English

Travel
About 40-60 days a year. The rest of the time is spent at the office in Holbæk.
