As one of our colleagues are going on Maternity leave, we are looking for a new colleague in Product Support (PS). Ideally, we would like you to start 25th of January 2021 and stay on for 8-12 months.
About the department
The focus of our department is to ensure Design Control and Risk Management by maintaining and improving the design, participating in improvement and quality projects and ensuring high quality throughout the products lifespan.
The department consists of 20 highly competent and dedicated specialists who are located in Colplast Headquater in Denmark and at our production site in Hungary. We are a mix of experts within product and material knowledge, design control and risk management
The role
Over the course of the next year we have a huge task in reviewing and possibly updating all our specifications to ensure alignment towards the design. This task needs to be handled in close cooperation with the individual product owners.
At the same time, we are running a lot of MDR projects within different product areas were support is needed to handle composition and description documents.
What you bring
You hold a degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline. Furthermore, you have one or more of the below competencies:
Working in Product Support demands a high degree of flexibility, the ability to prioritize and handle different tasks simultaneously as a planned working day often does not turn out as expected. It is, therefore, important that you can work independently, take responsibility for your own tasks, work outside your base qualifications and show initiative.
You have an analytical mind-set and enjoy identifying opportunities for improvements. It is important you have a fine-tuned sense of urgency, while at the same time maintaining a sense of calm.
As we work in a global context, we also have a close collaboration with Global R&D, Global Marketing, QA, Regulatory Affairs and external partners. It is, therefore, important that you are able to communicate and interact with your stakeholders in English, both verbally and in writing.
Furthermore, you should have a good sense of humour and believe that the road to outstanding results is shorter when you have fun on the way.

What you bring

- Material knowledge (polymers)
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid quality experience
- Process understanding within injection moulding and processing of polymers
- Knowledge of Regulatory and Quality standards in Medical Device or similar areas
- Experience with documentation and good documentation practice
