The Functional product owner community at Maersk is playing a central role in redefining the way that Maersk serves our customers and work with our suppliers.
We are looking for strong leader managing L2 processes in our Ocean Procurement process landscape and leading a small team of Functional Product owners managing respective L3 processes.
Along with a peer group of SFPO(s), this role will play a crucial role in standardizing, automating, and transforming the Ocean Procurement process landscape.

Key responsibilities
The Senior Functional Product Owner is responsible for implementing the Ocean Procurement Vision, Business Process and Product design, User experiences, Customer and Supplier Journey experiences and defining Platform requirements for key L2/L3 processes within Ocean Procurement.
You will also play the role of change agent to deploy your design to the organisation.
To ensure you deliver on this you will need to:
• Co-create and drive the vision for your functional product scope
• Be accountable for one or more L2/L3 processes including overall process design ownership down to a L5 level
• Maintain an up-to-date Process Map for the L2 processes along with inputs and outputs and metrics to define operational success. Ownership towards the master data that gets created or enhanced through the respective L3 processes. Along with the team of FPO(s), is responsible for the overall L2 processes
• Maintain an overall user journey and customer journey for the end-to-end L2 process
• Accountable for standardization and automation of the process steps. Along with all the peer L2 and team of Functional Product owners; responsible in ensuring that as Maersk we achieve the standardization and automation goals.
• Work with Platform Product Owners in ensuring User Stories are delivering the intended user, product, and business features
• Define Business Policy Choices to be made to enable high degree of standardization to the process landscape.

We imagine you have the following traits and skills:

• You are both a leader and individual contributor with a process mindset and excel in creating clarity in ambiguous situation
• You have demonstrated experience in driving Business Process Management and are well versed with Procurement business processes
• You have high energy, and you want to make a success of your own scope and are passionate about creating great processes
• You are someone who can use your analytical and logical mindset to solve exceptionally complex problems
• You can work with stakeholders across the globe and ensure their buy-in when driving new ideas
• You are creative, inventive, and have a E2E process mindset
• You understand that excellent processes are key to delivering on the integrator strategy and you want to help drive Maersk towards becoming a product and process driven organisation.
