About the Role:
Maersk is seeking a dynamic and experienced Functional Product Owner to join our Customer Experience Enablement Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative products and processes that enhance customer experience by identifying potential products, generating product requirements, and developing delivery strategies. The role will in particular focus on driving proactive resolution and reducing the number of systems our customer experience teams use to deliver benefits for our customers and us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Identify potential products by conducting research, generating product requirements, determining specifications, development timetables, and time-integrated plans for product introduction.
- Customer Insights: Determine customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
- Product Line Recommendations: Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
- Market Competition Assessment: Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Market Data Analysis: Assess product market data by calling on customers with the change community and evaluating results.
- Professional Development: Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Team Contribution: Contribute to the team by collaborating effectively and supporting team goals.
Process Management:
- Process Design: Accountable for process design at L3-L5 levels and maintaining an up-to-date Process Map for the associated processes.
- Process Objectives: Establish definitions of process objectives, targets, and measurements to enable assessment and improvement of process maturity and operational success.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of processes based on input from frontline execution.
- Standardization and Automation: Achieve L3-L5 standardization and automation goals, including specific process performance indicators.
- Process Documentation: Design and document L3-L5 processes and corresponding documentation.
Qualifications:
- Customer Experience or Service knowledge
- Proven experience in product development and process management
- Strong analytical skills and ability to assess market competition.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and process standardization.
- Knowledge of process design and risk management.
