In this specific job, you will get to work on OPEX and indirect spendrelated projects at our Copenhagen site, ensuring a well-functioning production site.

Xellia Pharmaceuticals, owned by Novo Holdings A/S, is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on providing important anti-infective treatments against serious and often life-threatening infections. We are approx. 1700 international colleagues with HQ in Copenhagen and production plants, sales offices and R&D facilities around the globe.
You will join our Global Indirect and Investments Sourcing team, where three colleagues are ready to welcome you. We work closely with our colleagues in the Cleveland and Budapest offices.

Take commercial lead on all OPEX and indirect spend-related projects at site Copenhagen
Your main focus will be on our site in Copenhagen, where you will work on all our OPEX and indirect spend-related projects. You will have a high degree of stakeholder contact when coordinating with, e.g., site management, operations/production, project managers, facility management, etc. It is all about making sure we make the right agreements and investments, and meet internal and external stakeholder expectations, now and in the future.
Specifically, you will:
- Develop, prepare and execute the procurement plan within own area of responsibility
- Take commercial lead on sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contracting and monitor any possible re-negotiations
- Manage our supplier relationships (set supplier KPIs, performance evaluation, disputes, contract management…)
- Manage our supplier portfolio to enhance stability and improve supplier networks while also doing some change management on supplier exit and onboarding
- Work closely with your colleagues in Cleveland and Budapest on everything from running tenders to day-2-day procurement tasks, sharing information and best practices.
Indirect spend knowledge and experience from a similar role

- Have a degree within engineering or business administration combined with some years of experience from a similar role
- Preferably have a good amount of knowledge from a similar role, allowing you to communicate smoothly with your many stakeholders
- Are a skilled negotiator, with a proven track record
- Have experience with, among other things, freight services, IT, facility management and travel services, to name a few)
- Are fluent in both Danish and English
- Would like to travel approx. 10 days per year within Europe and to the US to meet with suppliers.
