Senior Quality Engineer - A-series
Green Hydrogen Systems
GHS is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to the SHEQ department to ensure quality in the A-series products. You will be part of a highly important support function that plays an important role in the future of GHS.
Areas of responsibility
- End-to-end quality management from supplier to on-site delivery; data collection, reporting, pareto and root cause analysis, organizing the process
- End-to-end quality management from delivery to end-of-life; data collection, reporting, pareto and root cause analysis, organizing the process
- Treatment/Follow-up responsibility for input from service and customers
- Make quality plans for customer projects, including coordinating test strategy with production
Specific work tasks
- Product and process quality control
- Product and process safety assessment and review
- “End-to-end” quality control and testing strategies
- Work with customer, product, and process specification requirements
- Treatment and follow-up on inputs coming in from Service/Commissioning and customers
- FMEA facilitation and management
- Collect, analyze, and report data
- Preparation of error rate statistics and analysis of trends for the identification of areas of action for reducing disposal costs
Success criteria
To be successful in this role you contribute to continuous reduction of component, process, and product defects, and ensure to prevent identified errors. You succeed in clearly communicating quality status and data to the organization. You support the agenda of quality and safety being the forefront in production and supply chain, and you secure the implementation of “lessons learned” from root causes. Lastly you help GHS go from “fit it” to a “problem solving” culture.
Profile
We are looking for a person with practical experience from quality work in a production environment. You are experienced in working with industrial quality systems, tools, and methods (D and FMEA) as well as experienced in testing (I/O, density testing). You are well-experienced in working in ERP- and quality management systems. Preferably, you are experienced in D8, Six sigma and APQP, and have knowledge of “Quality Function Deployment (QFD)”. You can communicate both orally and in writing at a high-level English.
As a person you are detail-oriented, take responsibility and have a structured approach to your work. You are extrovert and have an outreach personality as you will have a large interface in the organization. You are self-driven and enterprising, and you like to keep several balls in the air, while keeping a cool head – even when things are going fast. Finally, you are a service- and solution-oriented team player.
