We are looking for a competent Mechanical Design Assistant / Technical Assistant to strengthen our Mechanical team focusing both on radar development and on our long-term product maintenance. You will become part of a team of highly qualified specialists, engineers, and assistants who work together to further develop and create new and improved products within the radar domain.
English is our company language – and so is our documentation language. The spoken language between colleagues is usually Danish.
Your role & key responsibilities
Your primary tasks will include:
Your professional qualifications
You have a relevant education, i.e., technical designer, technical assistant, or related technical discipline with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with 3D drawing and updates of complex products and systems in Solid Edge or similar 3D CAD program.
Knowledge of or experience within some of the following areas is a plus (but not a precondition):

Your role & key responsibilities
Your primary tasks will include:
- Updates of legacy products to new requirements and standards together with our engineering team
- Participation in detailed mechanical design processes, working closely together with the engineering team
- Facilitation of ECR (Engineering Change Requests) and reviews within CCB (Change control Board) meetings
- Updates of product documentation and specifications in our ERP system (IFS)
- Elaboration and completion of 3D drawings
- Communication with internal and external suppliers
- Internal cooperation with Terma’s departments for sourcing and production, and with our Technical Product Management regarding instruction, materials, and specifications
Your professional qualifications
You have a relevant education, i.e., technical designer, technical assistant, or related technical discipline with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with 3D drawing and updates of complex products and systems in Solid Edge or similar 3D CAD program.
Knowledge of or experience within some of the following areas is a plus (but not a precondition):
- Experience from the defense industry or similar
- Metal material knowledge, e.g. aluminum, stainless steel, etc., and knowledge of for example corrosion, strength, and torque issues
- REACH, RoHS etc.
- Geometrical product specifications (GPS). Dimensioning and tolerancing
- System tolerance chain calculation and verification

- You are a team player, and you take pride in communicating actively and acting proactively towards your teammates and stakeholders
- You are self-driven with good cooperation skills, as you will need to work with many different people in the organization
- You respect the formal quality and working processes while still striving to work smarter
