Can you manage commercial ownership of Kvik’s E-Commerce across all markets?


At Kvik the mission is clear: To sell Danish design kitchens, baths and wardrobes at surprisingly low prices.

Kvik has grown sales 74% the last 7 years by growing sales in current stores, opening new stores and new markets. Today Kvik can be found in more than 170 stores in 13 markets - and a lot more stores will open this and next year. Since 2020 Kvik has offered customers many new ways of interacting by launching video meetings, Kvik Home and most recently chat.

Kvik wants to continue to grow at a high pace and wants to offer customers access to the brand 24/7. To deliver on these ambitions, Kvik has decided to hire a new and commercial colleague to build Kvik’s business within e-commerce, including creating a new platform from scratch.

We are looking for a Product Manager, who will be responsible of taking the ownership of the digital product and to carry out the end-to-end UX/UI design and CX around the online sale in Kvik across all markets. We see tremendous opportunities to create an attractive omnichannel experience for customers by leveraging the interaction between the new e-commerce platform and 170+ retail stores.

Do you develop best-in-class CX and can you set product strategy?
You will be responsible for developing best-in-class UX and to set product strategy, when creating our new e-commerce platform and for launching the concept successfully at the end of 2022, together with our E-com team. The measurable outcome of this new platform must be growth in sales within current and new categories, but most important creating best-in-class customer experience. To become a success, you must be able to fulfill the following tasks:

  • Taking ownership of the digital product and seen as lead when it comes to develop best-in-class CX
  • Set product strategy and create product roadmap based on high level of web and mobile functionality
  • Carry out end-to-end UX design including user journeys, storyboards, wireframes, interaction design and visual assets
  • Design and conduct user research to build a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors
  • Identify improvement areas and optimize design solutions and user flows through user testing
  • Ensure demands and feedback of the customers are heard, and that the quality of the new products is as per set standards
  • Conduct extensive market research and create realistic user stories for service optimization
  • Monitoring, collecting and working with data

The Product Manager will report directly to the E-commerce Manager in Kvik, but have a close cooperation with major stakeholders like; Customer Service, Digital Marketing, IT and Category Management.

Kvik is looking for a profile who already have a relevant commercial experience from an E-com platform, likely from an international set-up, and from a highly competitive environment. The right candidate masters the disciplines to test, work data-driven, focus on the customer journey and to commercialize according to the e-commerce and marketing strategy. Therefore, Kvik is searching for a person with the combination of skills within both designing, implementing and project lead.

What does it take to be a part of Kvik?We expect you to have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience, working with human-centered design principles. In addition, you may already have a good understanding of retail business dynamics and omnichannel - both on store level, tactical level and especially when it comes to CX.

You are driven by data-analysis and digital design in general. You hold good communicative skills, as you communicate widely in the organization and collaborate with many colleagues/stakeholders in many different disciplines and countries.

  • Commercial experience of designing and implementing large scale digital products
  • Depth understanding of human-centered design principles and techniques
  • Hands on experience with UX/CX research techniques and trends
  • Experience working with design and prototyping tools, e.g. Sketch, InVision and Figma
  • Great project management and prioritization skills
  • Skills as a data-analysis wizard and tech savvy
  • Digital design and some CSS/JS skills
  • Business acumen and you are customer-centric
  • The ability to keep focused, effective and maintain momentum under hard pressure, and to keep calm in difficult situations
  • A tactical as well as an operational approach, master clear thinking and good cognitive capabilities

We expect you to be structured, enthusiastic, and motivated to learn and grow in this role. Finally; we expect you to be strongly motivated by the unique challenge of building up an e-com business.

The job is a full-time position and your working place will be in Middle- or East Jutland. Travel must be expected - national as well as international. We offer an attractive salary and pension scheme.
