As a Product Owner, you will be considered the responsible for the digital web platform and technology and are focused on the roadmap, and feature definition for that product. You will be the person responsible for defining the ‘why, and ‘what of the product that the Development team will build.
You will take responsibility for the full Lead Time of the platform and digital development and utilize an agile mindset and practices to optimize.
You strive to be successful through production adoption and delivering what the digital customer needs, what gains a competitive advantage, solves a problem, or builds an ability. This includes researching the latest digital trends and technologies and defining the key value measures for your product as well as gathering input and insight from the users and usage of the digital solutions to determine how your product can be improved.
Moreover, your key responsibilities include:
You will be working in close collaboration with the Group Marketing, Group IT, internal and external development partners.
You hold a master’s degree in technology or innovation, e.g. Computer Science, Cand.merc.IT, Cand.merc. innovation and entrepreneurship / innovation management, UX and Design, or similar.
You have been working as a Product Owner for some years and you possess great technical knowledge, allowing you to understand the KOMPAN IT architecture in depth.
Additionally, you have a great understanding of software development lifecycle and various development methodologies used by engineering teams, e.g Scrum, kanban, XP and classic waterfall methodologies, to enable increases in software development velocity.

You can enable non-technical stakeholders to make informed decisions in terms of dependencies and priorities as well as enable relation and alignment between IT and Marketing roadmaps and backlogs.
Staying focused in adverse and challenging situations and balancing conflicting priorities at work is a great skill for succeeding in this role.

- Ensuring all feature and platform developments are founded in the overall KOMPAN strategy.
- Being responsible for the partner relationship and performance of software development.
- Working with stakeholders from inside and outside the business, listening to what is needed and asking questions until the underlying factors are clear, keep asking ‘why?’
- Proactively securing alignment, involvement, and progress.
You will be working in close collaboration with the Group Marketing, Group IT, internal and external development partners.
Technical and user-oriented Product Owner
You hold a master’s degree in technology or innovation, e.g. Computer Science, Cand.merc.IT, Cand.merc. innovation and entrepreneurship / innovation management, UX and Design, or similar.
You have been working as a Product Owner for some years and you possess great technical knowledge, allowing you to understand the KOMPAN IT architecture in depth.
Additionally, you have a great understanding of software development lifecycle and various development methodologies used by engineering teams, e.g Scrum, kanban, XP and classic waterfall methodologies, to enable increases in software development velocity.
Moreover, you possess:
- Excellent project-, product- and stakeholder management.
- A great understanding of UX.
- Experience in working with web platforms and digital customer platforms.
- Solid business process analysis and improvement skills to help the team identify value and potential improvements.
- A good understanding of the value in working with outcome over output and are excellent in articulating value through OKRs.
- Knowledge of key user personas, customers and stakeholders for their product and their pain points well.
You can enable non-technical stakeholders to make informed decisions in terms of dependencies and priorities as well as enable relation and alignment between IT and Marketing roadmaps and backlogs.
Staying focused in adverse and challenging situations and balancing conflicting priorities at work is a great skill for succeeding in this role.
