We are looking for a product owner ready to share and grow
You will be part of a SAFe ART (Agile Release Train) of 80+ people (10 teams) located in Roskilde and Warsaw. We all work with BI, DW and Data Governance. We have worked agile using the SAFe framework for 2 years now.
Our customers are other development ART’s in BEC but also many of the banks and other financial partners.
We are responsible for all the platforms and tools related to BI & DW in BEC: Netezza, PowerCenter, Business Objects, SAS, Power BI etc. We also drive the data governance around data quality, linage, masterdata, data modeling and more.
We are very close to start migrating the first BI&DW solution into Azure.
You will report to a Department Manager with 3 teams, but you will also be part of the agile communities in BEC.
You will be product owner for two teams. One working with GDPR deletion engines, Netezza development tools like ELT loading, view generators and other automization tools. The other team is a brand new System Team, who will be responsible for platform monitoring and reporting, optimization of processes across the ART, root cause analytics etc. This team will do Kanban and you will be responsible for the backlog and prioritization of this.
Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position as product owner, you will work closely with the specialists in the banks and in BEC as well as with other product owners and the product manager in our development area. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

Preferably, you have an educational background at Master’s level within IT and previous expierence as a Product Owner or you could have 5-7 years of experience as a Data Warehouse developer with focus on backend platforms, DBMS, design of automated solutions like GDPR deletion engines, ELT engines, performance optimization etc.

- Cooperation and communication on all levels, both with teams and ART management and with customers and suppliers
- Clarifying customers’ needs and secure that expectations are aligned between BEC and the customers on an ongoing basis
- Responsibility for the team’s backlog and secure the right prioritization
- Responsibility towards budget and ROI
- Sprint backlog refinement together with epic owners, the team and scrum masters
- You main focus is on PO tasks and the rest of your time you will work as a technical driver for small and big initiatives
