Because of an increased demand for our innovative and intelligent solutions worldwide, we are looking for a new Commercial Product Manager to our Water Division.
With direct reference to our Head of Portfolio Management & Sales Support, you will become a part of a team consisting of 4 Commercial Product Managers. The team is dedicated to globally develop and maintain Kamstrup’s future water product portfolio. They collects and identifies market and customer needs in the surrounding environment of utilities and utilizes this knowledge in the strategy development and implementation.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams both internally in Product & Commercial Management, Water as well as Water Sales, Service, Technology, Operations and Marketing. You will have a high visibility in the organization and be the commercial lead for the Water Divisions’ infrastructure offerings in the marketplace.
Commercial Product Manager with strong experience within infrastructure
As Commercial Product Manager, you will own the global business strategy behind a product. You are responsible for specifying the customer’s needs, functional requirements and manage the launch of features.
More specific you will be responsible for:
• Commercialization of AMI (fixed network) solutions/projects/systems/products
• Scoping & launch management of IoT solutions and offerings
• Product portfolio including building and maintaining product and solution roadmaps
• Define product features, customer and market needs and requirements
• Drive launch of new products including sales support, pre sales and training
• Determine business cases, feasibility and product pricing
• Maintain overview and insight into the infrastructure market including competitor analysis
In the job, you can expect 30 travel days per year.
Personality matters
You must be able to take leadership in your field and be able to establish influential relationships at all levels internally and externally. You process a sharp technological aptitude and the ability to translate complex technical concepts to others. You are passionate and willing to go the extra mile to deliver a winning solution to our customers. You are a strong communicator and a world class presenter. You are outgoing and have the ability to build positive relations and communicate clearly to customers and stakeholders throughout the organization.
You hold a Master’s degree, in business or engineering and have at least 5 years’ professional experience from a similar position in a technology company. From your experience you have worked with high-tech solutions and have a strong documented project management experience (customer delivery projects/product development projects). In addition, it is a requirement that you have experience with:
• Radio based data communication
• IoT/LPWAN and cellular technologies
If you have experience from the water industry it will be seen as an advantage.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
