Become a part of our System Service Development department
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our solutions and focus massively on the development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Therefore, we are looking for a Product Owner for our System Service Development Department.
The department consists of three teams consisting of Developers, Testers, Software Architects, Project Leads and SCRUM Masters who are located in our offices in Stilling, Denmark and Málaga, Spain. The department primarily handles our login solution, encryption key services and our license server, thus many of our tasks are heavy on security. The teams work within the SCRUM framework and are a tight knit group who always help each other out when needed, and we value knowledge sharing and employee satisfaction very highly.
In the newly establish position as Product Owner, you will have a direct reference to our Head of System Service Development, and you will be an integral part of the Delivery team consisting of around 10 colleagues. Together the team is responsible for effective execution of roadmaps, to ensure maximum value to our customers.

As our new Product Owner, you will get a highly collaborative role and the responsibility for ensuring buy-ins from different stakeholders in the organization such as Product Management, R&D, Operations, Sales, Service Hosting and our direct customers, in order for us to deliver the best solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for prioritizing the improvements suggested by the Software and Solution Architects.
More specifically, your tasks will be to:

Personality matters
You have a relevant engineering background, minimum at bachelor level. In addition, it is a requirement that you have:
As a person you possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relations internally as well as externally. You are able to manage and deal with ambiguity and have a structured and transparent approach to solving your tasks. In addition, you possess a strong drive and the ability to move things and get thing done within agreed deadline and quality. You are able to stay motivated in a fast-moving environment where priorities change and with a requirement to deliver results.
It is a requirement that you are fluent English, both written and oral.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:
- Coordinate the top-level roadmap with Commercial Product Management
- Establish solid requirements based on customer insight in order to set meaningful/clear targets for the delivery team
- Breakdown roadmap items into quality product backlog items and set the top-level sprint prioritization
- Ensure top quality within the product at all time
- Oversee quality dashboard and prioritize preventive actions in collaboration with Software Architects
- Manage features request and unforeseen incidents and bugs
- Schedule and approve/reject releases according to desired quality
- Support Commercial Product Management in framing G1 material
- Project manage the framing of G2 material
- Support Commercial Product Management in release activities towards G4, R5 gates (stage gate model)

- 2+ years of experience from similar role in a R&D organization
- Several years of experience with software development processes including SCRUM and CI/CD
- Experience with working with Backend Developers and Architects
